Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional B2B growth marketing leader to help Alt Legal expand its reach to trademark professionals. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for developing and executing our demand generation strategy across multiple channels. This includes creating and optimizing search engine marketing and digital ads campaigns; creating and executing on email campaigns via Hubspot; identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities; assessing and optimizing demand generation efforts across multiple marketing initiatives; and creating and analyzing reports to determine which marketing efforts are most successful.

We like to make data-driven decisions when data is available, so we are seeking someone with a knowledge of and passion for data and analysis. As the company’s Director of Demand Generation, you will collaborate with our Global VP of Sales, our head of education and community, our content specialist, and external contractors. You will be responsible for optimizing our existing SEM, social ads, and email campaigns as well as identifying new initiatives that can drive interest and conversions. You should be comfortable implementing and executing initiatives as well as delegating and managing projects. We’re committed to rapid growth and will invest in the marketing team to ensure its success.

Your specific responsibilities:

  • Create a full-funnel, demand-generation engine using account-based marketing and other data-driven marketing techniques
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (outside of the marketing team) to execute on current strategies and future plans (including new product launches)
  • Partner with Customer Success and Sales and Operations teams to support pipeline goals
  • Continuously measure and communicate the effectiveness of demand marketing programs, leveraging data to improve on methods of driving demand, to increase revenue, and to further brand recognition
  • Collaborate with our content specialist to ensure that the content published on our blog optimizes demand
  • Create a strong brand identity and awareness for Alt Legal as the industry standard for trademark docketing
  • Develop and report weekly and monthly KPIs

What we’d like to see in the ideal candidate:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within a B2B SaaS product or demand generation role
  • Experience in legal tech or law firm marketing
  • Startup experience
  • Ability to recognize gaps in knowledge
  • Knowledge about and passion for metrics and data analysis
  • Familiarity with Hubspot, Salesforce, Wordpress, and other marketing tools
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities
  • Commitment to team cooperation and culture
  • Willingness to dig in and complete tasks
  • Good sense of humor
